Au Pair

Being part of the Au Pair programme in China is an extremely rewarding experience. It’s a great chance to immerse yourself in a new culture and learn invaluable life skills along the way.

As an Au Pair, you will be living with a host family who will provide you with accommodation, food and pocket money in return for childcare and language tutoring.

We assist our Au Pairs with the whole process of finding & matching with the host families, including the visa application (X1/X2) and the post-placement services.

If you want to become an Au Pair in China, then working with an Au Pair agency is the ideal way to find a host family safely and securely.

The Au Pair shall cover the following cost:

- Chinese Visa Application Fee

- Non-criminal Background Check Fee

- Physical Examination Check Fee

- Your Personal Expense in China

·Responsibilities:

- Language tutoring is one of the main responsibilities for the Au Pair as well as the school assignment

- Work on a schedule with the family to plan the time & duty wisely

- Have fun activities with the host kids, like artworks, dancing, singing, outdoor sports, games etc.

- Be a family member & a big brother/sister to the host kids

- Help with the childcare at home/travelling

- Keep your room tidy
·Screened Host Family: usually with 1-3 kids, aged 3-12, mainly located in Shanghai city.

·Program Time Span: 3-12 months, & 2-month summer Au Pair Program

·Service Hour: 30 hrs per week with 2-day off for language tutoring & childcare

·Monthly allowance: RMB¥1500/per month

·Family/weekend trips

·Private bedroom & full accommodation: The host family provides a comfortable private room furnished with bed & closet, and you will have the access to the Internet. As a family member, you'll have meals with the family. If you have a special diet, please inform the family before your arrival.
